Twelve-year-old Jianna "Jia" Myers aspired to be a world-renowned actress, but a decade later, she finds herself struggling to secure auditions, cleaning up after talent she deems less worthy, and justifying her pursuit of dreams to her skeptical father.

Meanwhile, Matheus "Matt" Salerio-Carter, known for his charm and Forbes 30 Under 30 recognition, faces a family scandal that threatens his father's prestigious reputation.

After a loud alteration between the two on set, a mutually beneficial arrangement is proposed to them: Jia gets her big break, and Matt protects his family's secrets by pretending to be a couple.

Now all they have to do is ignore the not-argument they had moments earlier where one attempted to get another fired, and the encounter before that when tense silence followed a lukewarm (or scalding hot, depending on who you ask) tea spillage.
